Football (Soccer) is Turkey's national game and is played all over. A percentage of the well known groups are: Trabzonspor, Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray. At this stage Turkish football is at an exceptionally imperative point. Turkish national groups are battling with the strongest groups on the planet and are getting more fruitful results. The U-16 and U-18 National Teams had attained to be the champions and to get degrees in the European Youth Championships and the Mediterranean Championships.

The A-National Team was met all requirements for the seventeenth FIFA World Cup in 2002 in Korea/Japan arriving at elimination rounds and they turned into the third best group of the world.
